In my case I did work for American Eagle, most guys did work for Rite Aid and many others.. Thats who you contact as they (Rite Aid Etc) have a liability under the law to verify that contractors they hire pay sub-contractors that perform the work... The law states anyone who hires a contractor to perform work is also liable for payment to the sub-contractor hired by that contractor. Should the contractor fail to pay its sub-contractors the person or persons (company) shall be held liable to pay tthe sub-contractors. It will then be the Person who hired the contractor, to recover from said contractor. This passage is from the Federal Business and professions code. Sorry I should have put this sooner..

Re: What’s going on with Nerdy Work?

Yeah, the company OneSource/Revacomm pretty much gave me the blow off line "well we haven't been paid yet, as soon as we get our money from joe nerd...." Here is how I got paid.. I contacted the local office and asked how to get in touch with accounts payable. I contacted the corporate office and asked how to get paid, I was told hang on for accounts payable. When I talked to accounts payable they said that they had paid for that work already. I explained that I had been the one to actually do the work and had not been paid. She said she would look in to it and of course that is just a blow off.. I called back now armed with the phone number to corporate and asked to be paid. Again I was told they had paid. I told them that if I did not receive payment I would begin legal actions to collect the debt and that I was going to place a lien on the property location the work was performed. Again please let me look in to it further they said. A couple more days go by I wait.. No call back so agian I call, next person I talk to again tells me please do not file a lien and hold off legal action until they look in to it. They call me back and offer half the money ( this indicates you have them) tell them no I would prefer all that I am owed or I will persue action as needed and again throw out there you will file a lien. This gets more attention than anything, as you have the right to file a lien on the property. This does take time a few minutes a day a couple times a week and follow through and you will get paid in full... This does work and persue it.. You might even have to file a lien but do it and you will get your money plus the cost to file the lien.. Thay are banking on people not knowing what to do and being to lazy to collect what they are owed.. Good luck to all... Thanks

Re: What’s going on with Nerdy Work?

I (obviously) still haven't been paid, I haven't been on this blog for awhile, but it's been months. Apparently Clarence & Joe Nerd screwed over the company called Onesource/Revacomm that I did the work for and they aren't going to pay me until Joe Nerd pays them. Last month they told me they were trying to take legal action to get their money back. I'm pretty sure I'm SOL though, which really sucks because I'm extremely broke and I could use the $425 for the work I did.

Re: What’s going on with Nerdy Work?

Kick'em in the nuts once for us Gus... I joined them becouse a guy I meet from Justtoo sales in Florida where I live said they they have so many sales contracts and not enough Techs to cover all the calls they get. Well after a month of waiting for that call I called their rep in Florida Todd from Justtoo sales and told him I wanted to drop out from the program he told me to hang on becouse they were new to Florida and they were working on getting contracts in Florida. It has been almost 3 months will out a service call and now im glad I didnt get a call knowing I wouldnt get paid. Im going to call my bank and put a stop payment on that $35 they are taking out of my account. Thank you to all who have posted on this blog and are letting everyone know what is going on. When signing up in early January I was required to create a Linkpoint account for payments to me. This seemed OK, then came the email from Suzanne Sidler. I was leary, but then came a request for work not far from me. I put in two hours of work, then lost contact with JoeNerd. Called a few times but you all know how that goes. Then came the kicker, Linkpoint (or Cardservice international) contacted me to let me know that my account due to inactivity would now be charged $5.00 / month. I have no other reason for this account than to receive payments from Joe Nerd, so I called to cancel the account. After cancelling the account, two weeks later, I got a call from Card Service International. they claim that I owe them $1500 for early cancellation. When I asked them how I could get that cancellation fee waived, they said the only person who could do that was my "SALES REP". Who is that? SUZANNE SIDLER. Now, not being able to contact Joe Nerd in any way, even emails to Clarence and others, I'm still looking at $1500 report on my credit.

Anyone else having this problem?

Poolczar

Re: What’s going on with Nerdy Work?

AT least they spoke with you. They di mke countless arraignments to pay and never followed through. They also sent metheir NerdyWOrk Debit card and promised to load $100.00 a week until my balance is paid off. I havent received on payment yet. That is ok I am not going to say what i going to happen to Clarence Williams on a public blog, but he cannot just claim bankruptcy an think this whole sitautrion will go away. The FBI, the BBB, and te local authorities will be involeved as well as countless other agencies, debt collectos, leins, brute force, etc.

As far as Scott Kosovan and GGE I cannot say enough good about him. Scott is in the same boat and many of us on here. He did start a very succesful netowrek and I have doe alot of work for him and have gotten paid every Wednesday or Thursday after the Sunday that I sent in my invoice. Scott is definatly a man of his word and will go out of his way to take care of the technicians in his network. I would highly recommend anyone who is thinking about joining to join and see for themselves. THisGGE company and network all came about because of Joe Nerd's inadaqcies and I am thankful that while i am out thousands with Joe Nerd, I am working and will continue to have work from GGE for the next 5 years. There is one good thing that came out of me initially working for oe Nerd.
Tim McGure
Owner/President
Pc Rx Computer Doctors
http://www.pcrxcomputerdoctor.com/
