This is bull crap! Whatever happened to the freedom of the press? I hope that he sues the crap out of the Denver police department.

Not a proud moment for Denver PD. Really, pushing people out into the street, arresting a man knowing you're being filmed with a huge cigar in your mouth, and that awesome PD mantra, "You're under arrest now, buddy!" Apparently, some PD don't realize pride and ego go before the fall... A uniform of any kind comes with the responsibility as a civil servant, not a civil tyrant. Nice to know the reporter was later bonded out, got back into a Kanye concert for lobbyists, and took video the whole time...

Thank you so much for bringing this to people attention. Is there any other way that we can respond? I mean while harassing the hotel is easy enough it hardly seems appropriate. Perhaps we should be calling/emailing the police department? Some other public office?

when did the DNC get the authority to assign on-duty public servants to anything? Is the Boulder Sheriffs department actually a branch of the DNC?

The "you're under arrest, buster" line from the officer with the cigar was classic - maybe the next "don't taze me bro!"
